The Chemistry series grew out of an exploration of the forms and proportions created by the traditional hand-blown glass techniques still used to produce glass in Vicenza, Italy.
Trapezi is inspired by the idea of a circus trapeze artist. Hand-blown glass in a variety of forms and colors is combined with brass bars and hung by linen cords from hub units on the ceiling. The arrangement of the lights is entirely flexible, and the hanging cables have a clear aesthetic function within the overall composition.
